Antenna Metrics
Overview
Section titled “Overview”This guide will cover how to extract standard antenna performance metrics from rfx simulation results:
- Gain — directive gain from NTFF integration
- Radiation efficiency — ratio of radiated power to accepted power
- Beamwidth — half-power beamwidth from radiation pattern cuts
- Bandwidth — impedance bandwidth from S₁₁ ≤ −10 dB criterion
- Front-to-back ratio — main lobe to back lobe power ratio
